What this site is
HyreSolar publishes educational information about residential solar for homeowners in the United States. HyreSolar is not a solar installer, contractor, lender, tax adviser or engineering firm. We do not design, sell, install, finance, inspect or service solar equipment.
Not professional advice
Nothing on this site is financial, tax, legal or engineering advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed professional assessing your specific property. Solar economics depend on your roof, your usage, your utility’s tariff and programme rules that change over time. Verify anything you intend to rely on with the primary source and with a qualified professional.
Accuracy and dates
We source factual claims to government agencies, national laboratories and utility documents, and we date the material that is time-sensitive. Even so, incentive programmes, tariffs and tax rules change, sometimes with little notice. Where a page carries a “checked” date, that is the date the claim was last verified, not a promise it is still current when you read it.

We link to external sources so you can check our work. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Future installer introductions
HyreSolar intends to introduce homeowners to solar professionals and to be paid for doing so. Any such relationship will be disclosed on the page where it applies. An introduction is not an endorsement, a recommendation or a warranty of any company’s work, and any contract you sign is between you and that company.

Please do not scrape, republish or resell the content here without permission, attempt to disrupt the site, or submit the form with someone else’s details.
