HyreSolar

For solar professionals

Homeowners start with a question. We turn those questions into projects.

HyreSolar helps homeowners understand solar costs, incentives, equipment, financing and installer selection, then connects the ones who are ready with solar professionals serving their area.

  • No cold leads. Every enquiry is a homeowner who asked to be contacted.
  • Your areas, your services. Matched on what you actually cover.
  • You own the customer. You design, quote and contract directly. We take no cut of the job.

The lead engine

How a homeowner becomes your customer

We do not buy traffic and resell it. The enquiries come out of a library homeowners actually use, which is why they arrive informed rather than defensive.

  1. A homeowner arrives with a question, not a shortlist

A bill that jumped. A neighbour who went solar. A system three years old that stopped reporting. A tax credit deadline they half-heard about. They search the problem, not your company name.

9 original studies and 45 guides

  2. They work out what they are actually dealing with

Loan against lease. What a dealer fee does to a cash price. Why two quotes for the same roof differ by 40%. What net billing changed. None of it is gated and none of it needs an email address.

21 free calculators, formula shown on every one

  3. They decide they need a professional

By this point they know a system is priced per watt, that a proposal without the inverter model named is unfinished, and that a 25-year warranty from a company with a two-year operating history is not a 25-year warranty. They are ready for a real conversation.

Every guide ends at the same place

  4. They describe the project and consent to be contacted

Zip code, goal, property type, roof and their own description of what they want. Nothing moves without an explicit tick on a consent step of its own.

Consent is a step, not a checkbox under a button

  5. It reaches you

Matched against the areas and services you told us you cover. You call them, you design the system, you quote it, you contract directly. We are not in that conversation and we take no cut of the job.

    You own the customer relationship

What you get on the call

Why these enquiries are different

The difference is not the form. It is everything the homeowner read before they filled it in.

They already understand the vocabulary

Price per watt, dealer fee, net billing, degradation rate, workmanship against product warranty. You spend the call designing a system instead of teaching the basics.

They are not price-shopping blind

We publish no national average price per watt, precisely because it sets a false anchor before anyone has seen the roof. What we publish is what makes a system cost what it costs.

They expect an itemised proposal

Because we tell them to ask for one: system size, panel and inverter model, price before and after incentives, financing terms, and each warranty separately. That favours companies that already work that way.

They have been warned off the tactics you compete against

Doorstep contracting, same-day-only pricing, savings guarantees, and quotes where the dealer fee is invisible. Homeowners arrive primed to reject the operators who undercut you.

They chose their own timing

No cold call, no door knock, no rented list. They filled in a form because they decided to.

The bar

What we ask of participating professionals

We publish guides telling homeowners how to vet a solar company. It would be incoherent to then route them to companies that fail our own advice.

Read the homeowner-facing versions: how we vet and choosing an installer.

  • A real, registered business with a verifiable operating history.
  • Current licensing where your state or locality requires it for solar or electrical work.
  • General liability cover, and workers’ compensation where you employ crews.
  • That you respond to enquiries you accept, promptly. A homeowner who is never called is a homeowner we have failed.
  • Written, itemised proposals: system size, equipment models, price before and after incentives, financing terms and each warranty stated separately.
  • No doorstep contracting and no same-day-only pricing. We publish both as warning signs, so we cannot route work to companies using them.
  • No savings or payback guarantees made before a site assessment. We tell homeowners those are not promises anyone can keep.

How it works separates what is settled from what is not, and the partner FAQ answers these one by one, including the ones that are still open. Registering now records your interest and your service area. Nothing is charged and nothing is committed. When these are settled, the businesses on the list hear before the page changes.

Before you register

Is HyreSolar a lead broker reselling bought traffic?
No. HyreSolar publishes its own guides, original research computed from federal utility filings, and free calculators, and homeowners arrive from search. Enquiries come from readers who worked through that material and then asked to be connected. No traffic is purchased and resold, and no enquiry is generated by a third party.
What does it cost to register right now?
Nothing. Registering records your business, your service area and the services you want, and places you on the list for your market. It is not an agreement to buy anything, no card is taken and no minimum is committed. Pricing has not been set, and the businesses on the list hear before this page changes.
Can paying buy coverage in a guide or a better ranking?
No, and there is no ranking to buy. HyreSolar publishes no score, tier or badge, because it holds no documented methodology that would support one. Payment is for receiving enquiries and buys nothing editorial: not placement, not a favourable comparison, not the removal of a warning.

The partner FAQ covers the operational detail, and how it works separates the settled terms from the open ones.
